Guidelines for Receiving Proceeds From the Sale of a Product (Excluding Corporate Marketing Campaigns)
Global Fund for Women (GFW) may lend its name or logo, publicly endorse or promote a product, generally artistic or creative in nature, of a socially conscious individual or organization, in order to raise money from the proceeds, reach a target audience, increase visibility, and/or solidify a significant relationship.
Required Criteria
- GFW will earn at least $1,000 in proceeds from the sale of the product.
- The proceeds are offered by a credible, socially conscious entity, individual or nonprofit organization, that adheres to socially conscious business principles, respects women's rights and minority rights through their business practices and/or marketing, and does not profit from the sale of weaponry, alcohol, tobacco, the nuclear power industry, or through the exploitation of workers or the environment.
- GFW will only choose to receive proceeds from the product (book, CD, art work, film, jewelry, clothing, etc.) of a private or nonprofit venture that seeks to advance women's human rights worldwide (though, this need not be their only mission).
- GFW will not lend its name and/or logo for unrelated products/corporate marketing purposes or for advancing or promoting individuals.
- GFW retains the right to review all marketing materials associated with the sale of the product in question.
