The Global Fund for Women is a leader in advancing women’s rights by mobilizing and redistributing resources. We make grants that strengthen women’s efforts to transform their own lives and develop creative solutions to local, regional and transnational challenges. We develop key partnerships and bring together grantees and donors in a unique network that promotes women’s contributions to social change, equality, peace and justice worldwide.
The Eleanor Roosevelt Initiative on Women and Public Policy will provide a special tribute to Mrs. Roosevelt’s enduring accomplishments in social welfare and human rights. This first Roosevelt House research and policy initiative formally underway is pursuing a wide-ranging agenda of research, publications, forums and applied policy advocacy to advance the rights and needs of women and families in the United States and around the world.
