SAN FRANCISCO, CA – For the third consecutive year, Charity Navigator, the premier independent evaluator of the financial health of philanthropic organizations, has given a four-star rating to the Global Fund for Women.
Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that Global Fund for Women excels, as compared to other charities in America, in successfully managing its finances in an efficient and effective manner. This consistency in their rating is an exceptional feat, especially given the economic challenges many charities have faced in the last year. The four-star rating will give donors the added assurance that a gift to the Global Fund for Women is well-managed.
Of the distinction, Kavita Ramdas, President and CEO for the Global Fund for Women, said: "We are grateful to Charity Navigator for affirming that the work we do here is not only important but efficient. Donors can rest assured that the Global Fund for Women will put their money to good use. They can feel confident that to work with us in this effort sends a strong message of solidarity and hope to the courageous women whose work we are proud to support."
