GFW's Advisory Council Highlighted in Fast Company Blog

A recent blog post by Fast Company highlights the Global Fund's global advisory council as one of three examples of a “board that is not a board,” or an organization that has a non-governing body supporting it in various ways.

We are deeply indebted to our global network of advisors, a community of experienced women's rights activists on the ground, who share their invaluable expertise in the regions and themes we fund. We currently have about 150 formal advisors spread throughout all of our five grantmaking regions who help us vet proposals and set priorities for our grantmaking.
