Note From the Editor | Dear Reader,

Yes, we have a new look – to make the Global Fund bi-annual newsletter easier and more enjoyable to read.

We heard you "raise your voices!" Some of you told us that in your busy day you want a way to quickly grasp the highlights. We hope you find that the new look by Melanie Doherty Design does just that.

Many grantee readers value the resources and events information the newsletter provides. We've expanded this section to include more of the vast Internet resources available. Others appreciate the inspiring stories of how the courageous groups the Global Fund supports overcome obstacles to equality and demand their rights. Raising Our Voices remains dedicated to featuring these articles. Finally, the newsletter will continue to highlight the committed work of women's funds around the world, of which there are twelve whom the Global Fund supports.

We have tried to stay true to our purpose: to represent the varied voices of women's rights activists and advisors all over the world, and to appreciate the generous donors and volunteers who enable our grantee support to continue and grow.

We hope you enjoy the newsletter and welcome your comments, questions and suggestions for future themes.

In solidarity,
Leanne A. Grossman
