Ghanaian Women's Groups Celebrate Liberian President

Liberian refugee groups in Ghana, including the New Liberia Women Skills Training Center, a Global Fund grantee, recently celebrated the election of Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, Africa's first female president. "I am pleased that in the history of Liberia and Africa, a woman has made a mark of becoming president of Africa's oldest independent nation," said Miata Gibson, Director of the Center.
