Katarina grew up in San Francisco and attended University of California, Santa Cruz where she earned a B.A. in Psychology. She is also has a certificate in Human Resources Management from the College of Extended Learning at San Francisco State University. Her love for travel led her to study abroad in South Korea. Prior to joining the Global Fund, she was an intern with the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and volunteered throughout the Bay Area. She enjoys baking and exploring the Bay Area in search of new adventures and great food.

joins the Global Fund from AchieveMission, where she was a consultant and provided performance and talent management design and implementation solutions to organizations in the non profit sector. She has over 25 years of Human Resources experience spanning non-profit, entrepreneurial and global organizations. Previously, she was the Director of Human Resources at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, where she contributed to the creation and implementation of their HR strategy, practices and programs. Christine has extensive experience in human resources in the financial services industry. She is a member of the Advisory Board of AchieveMission; she is active with the Northern California Human Resources Association and is also a mentor for women interested in careers in Human Resources. Christine has a BA in Psychology and an MA in Counseling from San Francisco State University, and is conversant in French.
