Lesley Wynn joins Global Fund for Women as Development Officer, Grants Management, where she manages private and public sector grants to advance women’s rights and movements worldwide. Most recently, Lesley worked at The Asia Foundation, cultivating donor relationships and helping shape programming to improve educational and economic opportunities for women, build environmental resilience, and address critical issues facing Asia. She has over six years of experience in the philanthropic sector, with previous positions at the Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership in New York and the Koret Foundation in San Francisco. Lesley received an MA in Asia Pacific Studies from the University of San Francisco, as well as a BA in Gender and Women’s Studies and East Asian Studies from Oberlin College. A strong believer in cross-cultural education, she has studied Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, and Hebrew. During her free time, she can be found exploring local museums or wrapped up in a good book.
