Sara is passionate about raising critically needed funding for activists and organizations advancing women’s and children’s rights worldwide. She has over 15 years of experience as a development professional, holding positions at the International Women’s Health Coalition, Water.org. and Global Fund for Women. Sara also has valuable experience in community-led development through her service with the Peace Corps in Jamaica and her efforts to mobilize increased public funding for underserved children, youth, and families in San Francisco and in Rhode Island. Sara holds an MA in international policy studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and a BA in economics from Brown University. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two daughters.
