Amrita Gupta
Amrita Gupta (she/her) is Data and Accountability Lead—Generation Equality at Global Fund for Women.
Amrita is a development and social science researcher with over 15 years of experience in research, policy review, impact assessment, and evidence-based advocacy. Amrita’s areas of focus include gender, women and young people’s health, and economic opportunities. She has wide experience with leading research across civil society, think tanks, and user-centric and design research. In her previous role as the Director of Research, Advocacy, and Communication, Amrita strengthened the organization’s internal monitoring, evaluation, and strategic communication. She was also the National Coordinator for the Non-Traditional Livelihoods Network (NTLN), where she managed regional and global advocacy initiatives. A published author and prolific panelist in the development sector, Amrita has also conducted several workshops across universities in India. Amrita has a dual Master’s in Sociology; and Public Health, Health Policy Economics, and Finance.
