Blythe Masters
Blythe Masters (she/her/hers) is a financial services and technology innovator. She is an Industry Partner at the fintech-specialized private equity firm, Motive Partners where she also serves as the CEO of Motive Capital Corp, the special purpose acquisition corporation sponsored by Motive. She is a Board member of Credit Suisse Group, AP Moeller Maersk and GCM Grosvenor, member of the International Advisory Board of Santander Group, Board Member of Santander’s Open Digital Services, and Advisory Board Member of the US Chamber of Digital Commerce, Figure Technologies and Maxex.
Blythe is the former CEO of Digital Asset, the New York-headquartered blockchain fintech start-up. She was previously a senior executive at J.P. Morgan where she was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and the Corporate & Investment Bank Operating Committee and over a 27 year career at the bank held a variety of roles including Head of Global Commodities, Head of Corporate & Investment Bank Regulatory Affairs, CFO of the Investment Bank, Head of Global Credit Portfolio and Credit Policy and Strategy, Head of North American Structured Credit Products, co-Head of Asset Backed Securitization, and Head of Global Credit Derivatives Marketing.
Blythe is a passionate advocate for diversity and women’s human rights. She is co-Chair of the Board of the Global Fund for Women, she is a Board Member of the Feminist Institute and ID2020, the former Board Chair of the Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and an Advisory Board Member of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Blythe has a B.A. in economics from Trinity College, Cambridge. She has one daughter, is an avid equestrian, and lives in Florida.
