Kara Wuest

Kara Wuest [they/them/theirs] is the Digital Content Lead at Global Fund for Women.

Kara is thrilled to join Global Fund for Women and be part of a team that amplifies the voices of women and girls everywhere. Born in North Carolina and publicly educated there, Kara has held a variety of jobs within communications, ranging from writing web content for a sex toy retailer to creating back jacket copy for a small press and running the social media channels for an educational nonprofit. Kara strives to write effective social media copy while making space for conversations about feminism, human rights, racial equity, and LGBTQI visibility.
