Oksana Amador

Development Associate

Oksana Amador (she/they) is the Development Associate at Global Fund for Women.

As a bilingual immigrant in the United States, Oksana grew up passionate about activism and advocacy for women’s rights, particularly in the areas of environmental justice, reproductive justice, economic justice, and the fight to restore justice to their local immigrant community in San Jose. Oksana interned for Next Door Solutions and has worked with organizations like Planned Parenthood and Family Supporting Housing. Most recently, they were the Development Senior Associate at Rebuilding Together Peninsula, where they worked closely with donors to help double the organization’s annual giving campaign.

Oksana enjoys reading, writing, volunteering locally, and reconnecting with her Indigenous roots. You can often find them sitting in the sun with a book in their hand and their beloved cat, Baby, beside them.
