Social Justice Philanthropist, Former Minister of Women's and Veterans' Affairs of Cambodia and Central American Women's Rights Activist join Board of international women's human rights organization SAN FRANCISCO – The Global Fund for Women, the largest foundation in the world that exclusively funds women's rights groups overseas, announced today the appointment of Abigail Disney, Mu Sochua and Lydia Alpízar Durán to its Board of Directors. The new members will bring distinctive expertise to the 17-member Board over a three-year term, which becomes effective May 1, 2006. |
