She became an activist after she saw her family impacted by the water crisis, and is passionate about ensuring that voices from the people and areas most affected by climate injustice are represented in climate-related conversations and negotiations.

Climate justice means...
Climate justice is about intersectional equity. It’s acknowledging that no human is “lesser than” and ensuring that no one gets left behind, it’s about creating systems that put the people, planet and its inhabitants first. I want to see gender justice activism address the intersections of climate and gender.
