María de los Ángeles Lasa

Analytics Lead

María de los Ángeles Lasa (she/her/hers) is the Analytics Lead at Global Fund for Women.

She has worked in the Argentine public sector, in international organizations and for civil society organizations leading technical projects related to media literacy, misand disinformation, judicial protection of Venezuelan migrants, migrant integration, affective polarization, participation of women in politics, “antivax” movements, and sports for development (S4D).

María de los Ángeles was Visiting Researcher at the University of Texas at Austin and at the Universidad de Los Andes (CO), and Visiting Professor of State and Public Policy at the Di Tella University (AR). She has been a TEDxSpeaker at the Catholic University of Córdoba and at the National Library of Buenos Aires, and has been awarded scholarships by the Italian Government, Fundación Carolina, Fulbright Commission, Erasmus+ and Chevening.

She holds a BA in International Relations from the Catholic University of Córdoba (AR), a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Oxford (UK), and a PhD in Political Science from the Università degli Studi di Camerino (IT).
