Senior Associate, Sustaining Approach

Mariana Castro (she/her/hers) is the Senior Associate, Sustaining Approach at Global Fund for Women.

Mariana is Guatemalan-American and bi-lingual, and is passionate about strengthening education and democracy among women and girls in her local community, as well as helping communities around the world live sustainably and to their full potential. Before working at Global Fund for Women, Mariana worked as a development coordinator and public health consultant. She brings to Global Fund for Women her skills in organization, writing, qualitative research, advocacy, and time management.

Mariana holds a BS in Juvenile Justice & Youth Advocacy from Wheelock College Boston University and a MA in International Education Development from Teachers College, Columbia University.
