Naana Ewool

Global Operations Associate

Naana Ewool (she/her/hers) is the Global Operations Associate at Global Fund for Women.

Naana is an organizer, abolitionist macro social worker, and a student of healing justice. A first-generation American-born Ghanaian, Naana has over 6 years of experience organizing with grassroots, local, and international groups on issues including child forced labor trafficking, public housing and displacement, community care, and mutual aid. Most recently, she worked with a local abolitionist formation co-developing popular education workshops and supporting the creation of a community-designed research project to identify solutions to harm and violence. Her role with Global Fund for Women allows her to continue offering logistical and administrative support to strengthen movement work.

Naana holds an MSW from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Psychology with a minor in African-American Studies from the University of Virginia. She speaks English, Fante, Twi, and a little German. When not exploring new places to eat in Durham, NC where she's based, Naana enjoys watching sunsets, taking walks, and FaceTiming loved ones.
