Riana Brewer (she/her) is the Senior Director of Institutional Partnerships at Global Fund for Women.

Riana has over ten years of experience in leading strategic fundraising, programs, and events to advance human rights and equity.

She is passionate about combining compelling storytelling with authentic relationship-building to strengthen capacity. In 2023, she served on the fundraising committee for Ohioans United for Reproductive Rights, the citizen-led ballot initiative that successfully enshrined abortion access into the Ohio constitution.

She created and refined event policies and procedures, including the introduction of an initiative that required formal LGBTQ workplace protections for participating businesses and sponsors.

Riana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from The Ohio State University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, going to way too many arts events, and cuddling with her cat, Miss Kitty Fantastico.
