Spring 2017 Update
“Because of all the awareness workshops, now a woman knows what her rights are. Before I didn’t know. Now we speak up.” Rajaa Iass is a Palestinian refugee and domestic violence counselor for other refugee women with Global Fund for Women grantee partner Tadamon in Lebanon. With U.S. leadership on women’s issues eroding, the work of Global Fund for Women’s grantee partners like Tadamon has become more important than ever. We’re scaling up our commitment to women and girls by investing in grassroots women’s movements in three priority areas.
